In 1987/88, Sabrina's success was huge in Europe. After her international breakthrough with Boys, Claudio Cecchetto and his team tried to repeat that success with some other female singers. But neither Sabina M with Excited for love nor Tina with Crazy charted.

Between 1988 and 1990, Angela Cavagna tried to capitalize on Sabrina's success, especially in Spain and Italy. Her first and only album was released by Five Records like Sabrina's debut album. Charlton and Bonsanto, responsible for Sabrina's first hits, co-wrote the flop-single Dynamite.

 

Danuta, from Poland, also tried to copy Sabrina's sexy style. If she released a few singles, none of them became a hit. But her pictures became quite successful, especially in Spain. Her first single was Touch my heart, in 1987.

 


Sabrina's early performances also inspired some imitators.
