Boosted by her successful duet with Samantha Fox, her participation in the tour "Party 80" in France and the release of the movie Stars 80 in which she was playing herself, Sabrina was full of energy at the end of 2012. She thus announced several new projects: a featuring on Gruff Rhys' new opus to be released in 2013, a new album ... and a Christmas song!
This unexpected news was announced by Sabrina on her Facebook page on November 14th, 2012 indicating that she had just recorded this track with Jeppe Riddervold, a songwriter and producer born in 1976, leader of the Danish group The Jam Band and manager of the label Jam Music Company.
The fans, who were very surprised by this news, thought that Sabrina would cover a famous Christmas song like We wish you a Merry Christmas. They were thus amazed when they finally could listen to this song and its production typical of the mid-80s...
This Christmas night was available on I-tunes on November 26 and, two days later, the song and the lyrics were posted on Youtube. If Sabrina didn't promote it, a web site dedicated to the song was put on-line but without content: http://www.thischristmasnight.com/This_christmas_night.html
