ERASE REWIND
History - Discography - Video & Audio

Early 2008, while Sabrina was touring in France with the RFM Party 80, some rumors announced that she would soon release a Best-of album. On May 2nd, Sabrina performed the song Erase Rewind for the first time on Spanish TV. This was a dance cover version of The Cardigans' song which had been a hit in several countries in 1999 (#6 in Italy). The song was chosen by Sabrina to promote her upcoming eponymous album.
It was first decided not to publish a CD single, probably to boost the album sales which came out on October, 3rd. The song was accompanied with a nice music video, shot in studio like the clips for Hot girl and Siamo donne - but in a much more professional way - by Mauro Lovisetto. The first images of the shooting were shown during the TV show La vita in diretta on October, 21st and the video was finally posted on YouTube in late November, reaching quickly hundreds of thousands views. Almost everywhere in Europe, many Internet users who had lost sight of Sabrina since the end of the 80s were surprised to see that she was still looking so good.

Strangely, Sabrina didn't perform Erase Rewind so often on TV contrary to the new versions of her older hits. But she often sang it during some showcases in the Clubs. Finally, one year after the release of the album, on October 13th, 2009, a maxi CD was released by the Italian label Move, featuring the original version, 6 remixes and the video. A picture-disc CD single, now very rare, was also published on this occasion. If some fans hoped that the single would be licensed to the German label ZYX (which had published the album), unfortunately it was not the case.
